On the day we're heading off to New Zealand, Adele brought us to her favorite breakfast hangout for some fantastic roti canai and dosai. It has been ages since I last ate truly authentic Malaysian Indian hawker style cuisine.

All 4 kids dug into their roti canai. I wish I've asked the waiter if I could take photos of the cook making the roti. I love watching them form the dough and then flipping the pancake in the air over and over again.

I decided to try the dosai instead. I could easily eat another.

The potato/melon curry side dish was finger lickin' good. I just wish eateries could just reduce the amount of salt. I don't know if it's me but everything tasted salty.

I looked over at the next table and saw people having this for lunch. So of course, I just have to try it. It was fantastic albeit salty. Our bill for 4 roti canais, 2 dosais, 1 lunch on banana leaf, 1 side dish and 6 drinks came up to RM 24 (£5.75) !!!
