I'm constantly frustrated by the speakers on my Mac. Utterly useless. I find myself straining my ears trying to hear my mom when we're Skyping each other. Sometimes, I can barely make out the conversations when I'm watching movies too. I found out about X-mini speakers from LLG and managed to nab one on Amazon before it was sold out.
It's tiny but wow, it packs a punch! It's only £13.74 on Amazon but the sound is loud and intelligible. Pretty impressive considering its size. It comes with a drawstring pouch and can be plugged into your laptop/desktop via the speaker outlet or USB port. Screw it back after use and it resembles a tennis ball.
