Pretty pink cherry blossoms have appeared well ahead of spring. Daffodil spears have emerged from the ground too. Since spring has arrived early this year, I've gotten a wee bit excited and plunged headlong into Spring/Summer collections.

To say I was disappointed with the Isabel Marant Etoile Fall/Winter 2015 clothes was an understatement. I was left largely underwhelmed by the repetitive pieces, recycled from previous seasons in different fabrics and colors but with hiked up prices. Yawn. I thought this spelt the end of the mighty Isabel Marant's magic touch.

A glimpse of her flirty dresses and separates in the signature bohemian style that Isabebl Marant is well known for has re-sparked my interest. Well, what can I say? I'm in loooooove. No one does ruffles and boho-luxe better than she does. She understands women.....our complex with our upper arms. The right amount of sex appeal without going overboard. Never overly girly and most importantly, very wearable clothes that'll get a lot of mileage. Okay, enough of the gushy and saccharine comments.

Sigh. If only I have an unlimited budget for clothes. I'm glad she didn't go too crazy with pricing her clothes from the Etoile line this time. Most of the pieces are within the ballpark figure of £145 to £270, along the price point of the likes of Maje, Sandro and Zadig & Voltaire.

I tried on Dill cotton eyelet top when it first hit the store late December. It wasn't even tagged yet. It was so flattering on -  hugging the body but loose in all the right places that I wanted to run out the store with it right there and then. Lately, I've noticed that all the smaller sizes are selling out quickly so I've bitten the bullet and purchased one. Any ruffled or broderie anglaise clothes from either the Etoile or mainline seem to fly out the door the minute the weather warms up. Every single year.

  1. I didn't have a desire to buy anything really in the A/W collection either, but like you I LOoove most things in this S/S collection. I tried on few things in Libertys at new year, the sales assistants left me too it ... (Love that). I adore everything you have picked and the Dill top is lovely, I also like the Daisy white bibbed blouse. X

  2. The A/W was dull and uninspired. I love that there are beautiful pieces in the Etoile collection so they're more affordable. Oh, I saw the Daisy top. It's beautiful! Too many items on my wish list. I only wish I have a bigger budget.

  3. I've been having a hate/love affair with IM for years now. I loved everything she did around 2010/2011 especially the coats and jackets but I can't seem to get into it anymore. Except for the tops, I've mentioned it before, those are great! And most of them end up on sale.

    1. Boy, do I get you. I've been trying to find secondhand jackets pre 2012. I used to do a review on her collections but gradually found it more and more difficult to do so. I love nearly everything from this Etoile collection. I feel like she's getting her mojo back.

  4. Now we just need good spring weather to arrive. I've been feeling sorry for frost covered daffodils on my early walks to the station this week.

  5. A little while ago, I managed to purchase several past season Etoile tees from The Outnet and when they arrived, I was in heaven. The perfect tee needs to be soft and pliable yet retain its pristine shape, wash after wash. And hers do just that immaculately. I might never prefer Wang or Lang over Marant and I doubt I'll ever covet anything with eyelets but I do know I'd pick those tees any day xoxo

  8. The " Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter " (GFCI) only trips when an electric current leaks in any one of the circuits in a given room in our home.

If this GFCI does not reset after the trip, the following may be the reason for it.

The incoming power supply is low or no power is coming.
If the GFCI switch is damaged.
The connection to the GFCI switch is incorrect.
The power through the main circuit breaker is only in closed condition.

  10. Individuals will in general utilize "welding" ordinarily without truly understanding what it implies. Indeed, the word's essential importance alludes to combining metallic parts, yet it is far beyond that.
