Weekend Inspiration

I feel like I'm permanently engulfed in shades of grey. I'm not just talking about my outfits here which incidentally aren't all too different from the daily weather forecast (cloudy/grey skies/cloudy/raining.....). The sun hasn't peeked out once from between the thick cumulonimbus. I'm not a fan of pink but it's a cheerful looking color to combat the current depressing weather.

  1. They are absolutely beautiful Marlene. I've heard the weather there at the moment is being difficult. Glad you've found a way to inject some brightness into the days.

    1. No snow yet and it's not overly cold either. Both of which I'm rather thankful for. Just gloomy....

  2. It's mostly gloomy, rainy days over at my side as well. Even thought its a good break from the all year sunny weather, it can get pretty depressing. I've been craving for warm drinks, hot soup every other day!

    1. S, I'm not sure if I can handle hot weather 365 days a year. Each time I'm back in the tropics, I find myself cowering in an air conditioned room.

  4. I bought some branches of shiny bright red berries for cheering up purposes the other day too - I've noticed my spending on flowers and plants always goes up in winter in an attempt to bring life and brightness into the house when darkness is all around!

    1. *sigh* Same here. It's an attempt to beat the doom and gloom of the winter. And the lack of sunshine :(
