Friday Links

Friday 15 November 2013

Whew. It's Friday. Time to chill a little and take a break from the busy week. By the way, did anyone managed to nab anything from H&M? I haven't bothered with a lot of collaborations but you know how Isabel Marant mad I am....... The website crashed and went kaput before I managed to check out anything.  Pfffffttttttt........

If you're as Chanel jacket/cardigan mad as I am, check out this video - The Making of Chanel's Two Toned Cashmere Cardigan. I had no idea how labor intensive it is to make a cardigan.

While we're on the topic of Chanel cashmere garments, Susie Lau of Style Bubble wrote an in depth article about The Paris-Edimbourg collection. It's by far, one of the most well researched piece I've read about a collection. EVER.

Meet Swedish stylist,  Columbine Simille's chic agent here. This lady oozed style and sophistication.

  4. The same thing happened to me with the online site. I really only wanted those fringe boots but I'm still a little bummed. Oh well. I wasn't about to brave the crowds here at the stores. I heard it was kill or be killed and some compared it to Fight Club haha.

    1. LOL! That's the funniest description about the IM x H&M launch. I wasn't about to bust my arse standing in the cold and then freeze just to get in. Hermes was bad enough!

  6. I'm late to the post but I managed to snag only the way-cool fringed scarf and the unisex Yosemite cream turtleneck sweater in mens size small -so incredibly soft and I love the oversized fit! I was in the second group of people let in and it was SO picked over already.

    1. I didn't think of the yosemite turtleneck sweater until I saw a photo of it on someone else. By the time I got to their website, it was all sold out. Post a pic for me, Laura.
