Geek Talk: Bluetooth Headphones

In the world of wireless technology, one would think I have dispensed of earphones a long time ago. I suck at untangling wires BUT I excel at swearing when I can't (and scared a few passengers on the train). After discovering the amazing bluetooth technology on my new Samsung Galaxy Note, there's just no going back to wires. Being the anal retentive person that I am, I have a few written requirements. The headphone has to be 1) small 2) portable 3) easy to use so that I don't have to lose more brain cells than necessary to figure out the contraption 4) affordable 5) comfortable as I have to wear glasses.

I'm seriously, I do mean seriously impressed with this new toy of mine. The SoundWear headphone costs only £19.97 and has well over 150 glowing reviews. It folds up into a tiny nifty thingamajig. The band rests comfortably on the back of your neck with all the controls on the right ear. When you get a call, it stops the music and you press the big round button to answer and talk (there's a microphone). I pop it on when I'm watching YouTube videos in bed so that I don't wake the hubs up. I can walk around and the music doesn't get cut off as long as you're within 10 metre radius of your phone. You can check out the assortment of bluetooth headphones here.

  1. These are very sleek! I like them Marlene! Sophisticated indeed. I see you got a LV Speedy! I remember when you were on the fence about the monogram print. Looks good!

    1. I like the bag. Just wish it's just blank canvas rather than the logos! Oh well.

  2. Oh these look really handy. I have been suffering from the cords on my a little more expensive headphones, it`s so annoying when they get all tangled up! I just don`t know if I could get enough wear out of these?

  4. I am so back dated when it comes to communication technology, infact both me and hubby are! We still use our old Nokia, at least mine is with wi-fi but my husband's squeaky plastic Nokia from 8 years ago is pathetic! No plan of venturing into iPhone or Samsung yet let alone this!

  5. I haven't invested in proper headphones, I still use the little ear bud ones. P on the other hand loves headphones and is always trying me ones. I think he has found a few that he really likes and has threatened to get me some too! I love how tiny these fold into! Very handy especially if you're also lugging a camera around in your bag xoxox

  6. Thanks for the great suggestion. I have tried several bluetooth headphones but the sound quality is generally terrible. I bought the SoundWear headphones and they are perfect. The sound is very good. Thanks!

  7. Undeniably believe that which you stated. Your favorite reason seemed to be on the internet
the simplest thing to be aware of. I say to you, I
definitely get annoyed while people think about worries that they plainly
do not know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top and defined out
the whole thing without having side-effects , people can take a signal.
Will likely be back to get more. Thanks
