Diane von Furstenberg Harper Envelope Clutch

This is the second part of my collaboration with Matches Fashion where I was invited to check out their range of Diane von Furstenberg handbag collection (click here to see Part 1). Call me a stickler for classic bags but I like ones that will still be considered vogue in a few years' time. I'm wary of it bags that cost the earth but the trend barely lasts a year. It breaks my heart when a client drops off a bunch of bags and the resale value is barely 30% of its original price tag.

The Harper Envelope is a classy number with a twist. The detachable tassel and sleek buckle keep the look contemporary. It's a medium sized clutch with a hidden strap if you prefer to be hands free. I don't know about you but I've never mastered the art of carrying a minaudiere because I tend to stuff my bags with too much junk. This will comfortably fit your wallet, cellphone, lipstick, a couple of cosmetics with room to spare. The Harper Envelope is retailed at £271.

Just in case you have a nice fortune for a wardrobe overhaul, Matches Fashion offers a personal shopping service. You'll be taken to a private townhouse where a meal will be prepared for you and your companions.
